Kristin Schattschneider
In Loving Memory....
Kristin Schattschneider Our co-founder and Principle of Little Lambs Learning Center One of the strongest people I've ever met. She never let anything stop her. When she did something she poured her whole heart into it. She loved children and loved her family.....that's all she ever talked about. It was probably the bravest thing she ever did...moving to Uganda away from her family and friends to do what she loved the most.....touching young lives through literacy. I met Kristin in 2006 and just watching her diligently work with our children humbled me... Watching her work with our little Lambs has been one of my greatest highs. Long after they had gone home you would still find her sitting at the dining table planning lessons for the next day....she believed in them and saw a future for them when their own poor parents had given up on them.I believe the happiest moments of her life were when she taught and made our children laugh....she brought joy to the these kids; they looked forward to coming to school every morning. She made our school a better and brighter place. She brought laughter to our family with her beautiful spirit and quirky sense of humor . My soul sister...we shared our dream of making the world a better place in our very small way and for a moment we did . We love you so much, forever in our hearts. Thank you for being an inspiration to so many may your spirit live on. Rest with the Angels dear friend til we meet again. |
